Neurology – Clinical Research Coordinator

Position supports neurology research projects.  Duties include:  Perform chart reviews to obtain patient from laboratory reports and radiology studies, patient families, and other facilities as needed.  Maintain integrity of research databases and coordinate support from Information Technology. Assist with data analysis and help coordinate the review of information and results. Assist with the preparation and submission of abstracts and journal manuscripts. Assist with the preparation of papers for publication and presentation and develop other presentations as needed. Organize and store all relevant research and educational data, forms, printouts and manuscripts. Assist in preparation and maintenance of research and regulatory documents (TSRHC, RAP, IRB, etc).  Bachelors degree required with a minimum of two years experience in clinical research. Working knowledge of medical terminology needed.  Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within research. Must have proficient computer skills in a Windows environment (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.).  Seeking a highly motivated and independent  individual with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other health professionals, patients, their families and the community.  Mon-Fri, Day Shift.
